The Governor's Council is Not A Clown Car, It is the Gateway to Our Judiciary. Vote Mara Dolan for Councillor Tuesday, Party Tuesday Night!
For too long the Governor’s Council has been overlooked, and too many simply have not understand what it does. It has been likened to a clown car, encouraging folks to think there was no point in trying to grasp the enormous significance of the work being done by its members. But it's not complicated. The Governor’s Council is the gateway through which everyone who serves in our judicial branch must pass before they are allowed to serve. The Governor’s Council therefore has enormous power to shape our judiciary and what happens in our courts. This campaign has been about educating people and the press, and we have succeeded.

If you haven’t already cast your ballot, make sure to get to the polls this Tuesday, September 6th to cast your vote for MARA DOLAN FOR COUNCILLOR. With your support, we will win!
On Tuesday I will begin my day visiting polling places throughout Boston. Did you know one of them is at the Museum of Fine Arts? Another is right at Simmons University, where we will see our own wonderful Rosy Watson, campaign researcher, strategist, and manager extraordinaire who is entering her final year there. Special shoutout to the IBEW Local 103, which will have our sign at every single precinct in Boston, and to the Merrimack Central Valley Labor Council which will cover the northern part of this great district!
I’ll visit polling places in Waltham, then head up to Burlington, which has the largest precinct in the district, and finish my day at my own polling place in Concord and stay until the polls close.
Then we will all celebrate! Come join us at Concord’s Main Streets Cafe at 42 Main Street. We are going to have an absolutely wonderful time!
I can’t thank all of you enough. You have understood what this campaign was all about, and have supported me from the beginning. There will more thanks after the primary. For now, we have an election to win and, with your support, that is exactly what we are going to do.
Take Care,
Mara
