More Breaking News from GBH, March with Us as 1st Candidate in Biggest Parade in MA, and GOTV!
It’s Christina Knowles again, Mara’s Campaign Director. Thank you all so much for your enthusiastic response to my Call to Action last week. You always come through for us–that’s why this campaign has been so successful.
Breaking news: the GBH story on Marilyn Petitto Devaney’s false endorsement claims has been updated, with evidence of false claims about colleagues, and there may be more updates soon as her decades of deceit are being exposed. Watertown News is also covering the story, and following it closely. We are so grateful and working to keep the focus on the substance of Mara’s campaign: making sure the Governor’s Council, the guardian of our judicial branch, reflects the values and the will of the people.
I can’t believe the election is the day after tomorrow, but the months of hard work are paying off. Thanks to your support, donations, and organizing, we enter the final phase of GOTV stronger than ever. We wouldn’t be here without you, and we are excited to celebrate our hard work on Tuesday.
But before that, on Monday, Mara and our team will be marching in the biggest Labor Day parade in Massachusetts, and we will be the first campaign in the parade! It will be televised on WMCT-TV in Marlborough and livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook. We would LOVE to have you march with us! Please click HERE to sign up!
Regarding that last point–we hope you’ll join us at our Election Night Results Watch Party at Main Streets Cafe, 42 Main Street, Concord, from 7-10 PM. We’ll enjoy refreshments and music, watch the results come in, and toast to our campaign. Please spread the word–the more the merrier! Please RSVP to us here, so we can get a headcount.
I have a few requests for these next few days–we’re asking you to donate, join us in the Marlborough Labor Day Parade on Monday morning, and call into The Young Jurks show Monday night. I also have some information for you on voting and volunteering, so make sure to read to the end!
Now on to my asks…
Your generous contributions have allowed us to run a full-scale texting, digital, and radio program reaching hundreds of thousands of voters in our district–it’s the most efficient, effective, and economical way to reach voters in a down ballot race with a district this size.
The best part about digital voter contact is that we can continue to expand the program right up until the polls close.
Our campaign is doing incredibly well. We feel confident going into Tuesday, and are proud of our team, our supporters, and our work.
But Mara and I have been doing this for a long time, and we know that you never, ever take an election for granted. We respect our voters, and we want to earn their vote. This is and always has been a campaign about information– and we need your help getting that information out to additional voters between now and Tuesday.
Can you help us raise $1,500 by 12 PM on Monday? Whether you contribute $10 or make a max contribution of $1,000, your donation will be used to directly contact voters on or before September 6th.
Thank you for anything you can give–especially when you’ve already given so much, in so many ways.
