The new ad is out and being seen all across the district! I’m the only candidate in this race who will protect your abortion rights, and we’ve got to make sure voters know. The League of Women Voters of Massachusetts forum recorded at NewTVis airing throughout the district on local cable stations. The choice is crystal clear throughout the debate, as my opponent often didn’t understand questions, responded to what I said as if she thought I had said something else, and of course made a lot of false statements. I recently joined a DNC watch party in Belmont and was very touched by the warm welcome I received. The next day, the Belmont Democratic Town Committeevoted unanimously to endorse my candidacy!
As many of you know, I have been an LGBTQ+ rights advocate since I was a child. So it meant a very great deal to me to be endorsed by the Bay State Stonewall Democrats. In a time when LGBTQ+ rights are under increasing attack, it is imperative that our Governor’s Councillor never back down from any attempt to encroach upon any of the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. I won't.
I’m the most endorsed Democratic primary challenger in any race in Massachusetts in living memory because the choice is so clear. Here's the full list. I am incredibly honored to now include Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, as I recently shared with you. I have another huge endorsement I’m announcing very soon that I’m extremely excited about, so stay tuned!
David Hunt does an incredible show called “America in Crisis: Breaking the Cycle of Addiction” and I was very honored to be his guest. We talked about the role our courts, and therefore the Governor’s Council, plays in our substance use disorder epidemic. It was a superb discussion. Click HERE to watch.
